Rostering Shifts That Are Compliant From the Start
Empowering You Disability Services runs two sites in regional Queensland — Maryborough and Torquay — supporting NDIS participants across both locations. With staff rostered across sites and shift types, Office Manager Melissa Klein needed a way to make sure every shift complied with the SCHADS Award before it ever reached the floor.
EYDS brought in CrossVault's Rostering tool to check shifts for SCHADS compliance as rosters are built — rather than finding out about a breach after the fact, in a timesheet or a payroll run.

Timesheets Are Next
With rostering compliance now part of the day-to-day workflow, EYDS is turning to the other end of the pay cycle. Melissa plans to start running timesheets through CrossVault "in the very near future" — extending the same SCHADS checking from the roster through to what's actually paid.
